Radon Systems has been protecting homeowners since 1977. We are state licensed for both radon testing and mitigation. We can confidently say we have never encountered a house we could not fix. We use a variety of methods to reduce radon and vapor intrusion for both homes and businesses.
Most systems use pipes and fans to route radon outdoors. Such systems are called "sub-slab" or "sump suction" systems. These systems prevent radon from entering the home by creating a vacuum below the foundation that collects radon and other soil gases. Systems can be exhausted through the roof or sidewall of a structure. As an additional benefit, these systems remove up to up to a full gallon of water every two hours from homes with basements. Dry foundations help prevent mold and mildew problems. The right system depends on the design of your home and other factors. Radon Systems will custom design a system based on the building characteristics of each individual home/building.
Our Promise and Guarantee. Radon Systems is a fully licensed company that only works with the best materials available. We provide a 5 year guarantee to keep radon levels below the EPA action level of 4.0 pCi/l. For an additional fee, we can usually guarantee to lower levels below 2.0 pCi/l. and provide a 1 year guarantee on all labor. We strive for honest customer service and will work within your timeline to get the job done right.
Radon Systems installs over 1500 systems per year in residential/commercial properties and an additional over 400 systems per year in new construction houses. Several large buildings have been mitigated by Radon Systems. Included in the list are the Ohio Statehouse; Garfield Elementary School; EPA building in Dayton, Ohio; The Grand Court retirement home in Findlay, Ohio; Kobacher House at Riverside Hospital; Meridian apartment complex in Columbus, Ohio; and several large apartment complexes.
